Senior Scrum Master

Job Site: 
Alpharetta, GA and various unanticipated locations
Work Hours: 
40 hours/week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Facilitate various Agile ceremonies like stand up calls, Sprint review and planning; Review the completed features of product, use SQL to query DB2, analyze and review Mainframe files; Resolve dependencies among cross functional teams; Prioritize the work for program increment; Determine team capacity and velocity for Sprint planning and productivity improvements; Coordinate and participate in integration and system testing, defect resolution, production incident handling; Effectively use Agile tool CA Agile Central to maintain project data; Attend business initiative meetings and capture requirements; Participate in estimation and architectural design review meetings; Brainstorm captured requirements with team, break down the requirements and translate to technical specifications; Analyze code on Mainframe platform to understand technical specifications using technical knowledge of COBOL, JCL, relational database DB2, Data Optimization and Error Handling Techniques and other relevant technical expertise; Prepare user stories as per technical specifications; Execute SQL queries for data analysis, review relational data models created by data architects; Analyze COBOL-DB2 programs, research stored procedures, review XML inputs to stored procedures, analyze DB2 triggers, interpret data of file systems using file management tools, perform DB2 data fixes; Agree on implementation date and coordinate with dependent teams for smooth implementation; Actively participate in post implementation activities.


Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study, and eight (8) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Professional experience or academic coursework must have included: COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, relational data models, XML, stored procedures, and DB2 triggers.
