Quality Assurance Analyst

40 hours/week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Develop and execute LAB/Real interface test plans for Amdocs end to end testing in order to identify software problems and ensure that work products and deliverables are of the highest quality. LAB testing scope includes Apple/Android eSIM watch and device testing. Check test environment. Execute, track and report on test execution. Analyze results and communicate status. Perform defects management, including triaging of new defects, assigning and working with the relevant Developers team, working with the testing teams to get progress with feedback/defects retest, engaging application teams for investigation/troubleshoot together with Developers, tracking fixes in builds, updating defects, and setting expectations with the customer. Monitor the environment availability, making sure all daemons, servers, processes are up and running, and resolving any instability issues in the environments. Deploying HFs in the environments. Performing daily sanity checks in all the environments. Validating new environments for new releases by learning new IAs, checking the environment readiness to support the CR, etc. Supporting any data issues that the testers encounter. Supporting Batch activities such as Billing, AR EOD, etc. Working with and leading team members to create, execute and review system test plans, test rules and test cases. Communicating and documenting test results (completed test cases and summary reports). Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality performs as specified and recommending corrective actions. Participating in software product requirements reviews, design reviews, testing, configuration control, reporting, and change control. Create validation documentation such as test plans, test cases, impact/risk analysis, build and configuration matrix, system development review, summary reports. Validating data against the backend database DB2 using complex Oracle/SQL queries. Using Unix operating systems, including HP, Solaris and AIX, to monitor the logs for each API request and response in different ordering flows. Collecting logs for any failures, attach to the defects and engage the proper application team to resolve the defect. Documenting test failures using ALM/HP Quality Center, Remedy and Rally tools and providing bug reports to management. Successfully delivering and testing rapid pace environments in agile and waterfall methodologies. Using the Amdocs Ginger Test Automation tool to decrease execution time by allowing multiple implementations of product testing with different environments. This position is for a roving employee who will work at 4030 Old Milton Parkway, Suite 200, Alpharetta, GA 30005 and various unanticipated locations.      



Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field of study, and eight (8) years of progressive experience in a related occupation Work experience or academic  coursework must have included: Amdocs billing and ordering management system; UNIX operating systems, including HP, Solaris and AIX; Oracle/SQL; and test automation.
